Both of those stars are for the retro-tastic packaging, because frankly these do-nuts were a disappointment from the first bite.
Using Krispy Kreme as the benchmark, let's run down the various failures of the Tesco "Lip-licking doughnuts!" Do-nuts:
- Dense and chewy
- Watery glaze, only on the top of the do-nut
- Odd mouth-feel, disturbing coating left on the roof of mouth
- Overall, do-nut seems to be prematurely stale
